Piezo calibration
The digital back is connected to a computer and a special test program is run where a number of test multi-shots are performed. During this process, the piezo-element’s movement of the CCD is monitored and adjusted accordingly. Depending on the degree of the misalignment of the sensor, this procedure may take some time to complete.
After calibration of the CCD and the cleaning of the IR-filter, the filter is remounted (or replaced if it has any scratches). For further details, please refer to the description of “CCD cleaning”.
After passing a functional test, the back is ready to be returned.
